About Lucky 13 Golf

Hey there! This is Mike Sherman, founder of the Lucky 13 Golf, LLC brand. People always ask me, why Lucky 13? Well, growing up as a kid and playing sports, I always wore the number 13. I figured... everyone else thought their lucky number was 7,9, infinity... I mean, casinos use lucky #7 all the time! I'll do the opposite and voilà! The idea was born.

Many people think the number 13 is unlucky (that’s called paraskevidekatriaphobia - the fear of the #13 - and 44 points in Scrabble... score!) so I figure it’s got to be lucky for me! Let's see... two knee reconstructions, torn rotator cuff, slipped disk... good call!

Anyway, with that said, as a semi avid golfer that's experienced all the bad brakes golf has to offer - crooked bounces off trees, balls disappearing into thick rough, the power lip out… all these things stopped when I came up with Lucky 13 Golf (kidding, but the logo has a horseshoe in it!).
